Louise Jean “Weezie” was born Wednesday, November 22, 1922 in Osage, Saskatchewan, near Prince Albert. Louise Jean passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital Sunday, May 13, 2012, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter “Wally”; her infant daughter Shirley; parents Frank and Elise; and her brother Jack Reber. Survived by brothers Donald (Dora) Reber of Kamloops, British Columbia, Patrick (Rose) Reber of Cranberry Portage, Manitoba and John (Barbara) Reber of Dashwood, Ontario; and her many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by family and friends, especially friends Marilyn Corey and Gisele Collard. A memorial service was held at the chapel of Davidson Funeral Home, 135 Clarence St., Port Colborne, Ontario, Saturday May 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment was held Friday, June 22, 2012, 11:00 am at the Cranberry Portage Community Cemetery, Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. Presider was James Hemauer. If so desired, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Welland and District Humane Society.Obituary
