Maggie was born Tuesday, November 20, 1923 in Sturgeon Landing, Saskatchewan. Maggie was a very kind and caring person who would do her best to bring comfort to others. She always had a special smile for everyone. Maggie’s special hobbies were watching TV, especially “All My Children”, playing bingo and listening to gospel music, but what was most important to Maggie was spending time with her family. Maggie passed away peacefully, Friday, July 27, 2012 at St. Paul’s Personal Care Home, The Pas, Manitoba at the age of 88 years. Maggie is survived by her children Mary-Ann Ballantyne, Harrriet Genaille, Alice (Paul) Ducharme, Marie (Percy) Genaille, Esther (Jimmy) Colomb, Robert Bighetty, Lazare (Rita) Bighetty; special children Raymond (Karen) Bighetty, David Bighetty, Belinda Bighetty. Maggie is also survived by her grandchildren Vernon Ducharme (Valerie), Robin Ducharme (Dedra), Joanne Ducharme, Rita Ducharme (Neil), Carmen Castel, Melvin Castel (Wilma), Sheila Ballantyne, Floyd Ballantyne, Phillip Castel, Jackie Ballantyne, Allan Ballantyne, Carmen Genaille, Percy Genaille (Debbie), Carla Genaille (Clayton) , Carl Genaille (Leahila), Melvin Genaille, Ernest Genaille(Bessy), Kevin Genaille (Jenny), Jimmy Jr. Colomb (Angel), Roderick Colomb (Charlene), Keith Colomb (Kelly), Christine Colomb (Lawrence), Daisy Colomb, Debbie Colomb (Bradley), Tracey Colomb (Merv), Deanna Bighetty (Ovide), Maggie Colomb (Curtis), Shelby Colomb, Clinton McKay, Steven McKay, Shirley Bighetty (Floyd), Wanda Bighetty, Marc Bighetty, Leonard Bighetty, Edwin Bighetty, Jason Lucas, Laura Dumas, Robert Dumas, Roberta Bighetty, Sharlene Ducharme, Cheryl Bighetty, Travis Ducharme, Kenneth Bighetty, Stacey Bighetty, Jeff Dumas (Freedom), Jay Dumas (Trinia), Arthur Bighetty (Valerie), Sharon Bighetty; great grandchildren too numerous to mention. Maggie was predeceased by her husband Pierre Bighetty; parents Edward and Harriet Morin; children Emily, Irene, Lorraine, Arthur, Roderick, Patrick, Leonard, Mervin; sister Esther Michelle; brothers Pierre Morin, Fred Morin, Joe Morin; other family members too numerous to mention.
