Patrick Daniels Obituary

Patrick was born Saturday, March 3, 1956 in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan to Cyril and Emily Ballantyne. Patrick’s special interest during his lifetime with us will be memorable. He enjoyed his dancing; square dancing and jigging. Also getting together with his friends for card games of Texas Hold-Em’ and Trump. While he was healthy he played baseball and hockey. He also enjoyed camping outdoors with his family especially when his mother-in-law’s birthday came along, he would pack her tents and set camp at The Bay. He also enjoyed setting snares for rabbits. Patrick had a truck that he travelled a lot with going to places like Prince Albert, Pelican, Flin Flon, Southend, Denare Beach and Saskatoon. There are a lot of great experiences we had with our brother, friends, uncle, grandpa and a dear husband. Patrick’s faith changed when he was told that he had cancer. His love for his family became greater and stronger and dearly loved the little children, who were very special to him. We will always cherish those memories of “Patio” in our hearts, as his journey begins. We thank our good Lord for allowing him to be with us here on earth. We love you “Patio”, yes, we will miss you, but we know that you will visit us from time to time here on earth. Patrick passed away peacefully with family by his side on his best man’s birthday, (Gary S. Morin Sr.) Monday, January 2, 2012 at his home in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan, at the age of 55 years. Gary went to prepare a place for Patrick’s arrival on Patrick’s birthday March 3, 2008.
