Philip was born to John Francois and Emily Ballantyne, Tuesday, October 9, 1934 in Pukatawagan, Manitoba. Left an only child, dad was raised by two families. His early childhood years he was raised by Joe and Catherine Bighetty. He was then raised by his adoptive parents Marcel and Rosie Colomb. Dad was united in marriage to mom, Marguerite Bighetty, on April 7, 1958 at Pukatawagan. He often told us his stories of travelling by dog team from Hughes Lake to Pukatawagan with his brother Oscar Colomb. Dad loved the outdoors, camping, picking berries with Mom. He worked as a custodian for the Pukatawagan Education Authority, until his retirement. Philip passed away peacefully with family by his side, Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at his home in Pukatawagan, Manitoba, at the age of 79 years. Philip is resting in paradise with his wife of 50 years, Marguerite; parents John and Emily; sons Larry, Wesley, Emile; sister Lorraine; grandson Windwalker; great grandchild Baby Angel; granddaughter Nikisha; baby son Wesley.
