Richard Grey THE PAS, Manitoba Obituary

Richard Grey

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a husband, brother, son, uncle, cousin and friend, Richard James Clayton Grey, Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the Grace Hospital, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 45 years. James was born Sunday, July 21, 1968 at Moose Lake, Manitoba to Abel and Marjorie Grey. In his earlier days he enjoyed hunting, trapping and living off the land with his father and grandfather. These valuable teachings he learned, helped him throughout his life. While residing in Winnipeg he was employed as a roofer. This employment took him to various towns surrounding Winnipeg. After moving back to Moose Lake, he settled down and married Gladys, May 6, 2011. They shared a home in Moose Lake and their door was always open for family and friends. He loved playing “Bugger”, sharing stories and watching movies. His greatest delight was a visit from his “special friends” JayZ and Lynnette and his cousin Dougey. James suffered from Lung and breathing problems which caused him numerous hospital stays in The Pas and Winnipeg. Although at times his illness incapacitated him, his outlook on life never wavered. He saw good in all and this made him very special. James was special in many ways. His belief in the good of all made an impact on all those he met and knew.
