Roseanne Suzanne Hunter

Roseanne Suzanne Hunter (nee Dumas) was born Sunday, July 27, 1958 in The Pas, Manitoba. Roseanne passed away peacefully with family by her side, Monday, September 7, 2015, at 1:15 am, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 58 years. Roseanne grew up around Burtwood Lake, Mile 94, where she enjoyed living off the land, eating wild food she caught with her parents. Roseanne also loved working that was her greatest pride. She worked in many different jobs while here on earth and she always had a smile and greeted everyone with a “hello”. Roseanne loved spending time with her grandchildren. That was the pride in her heart to watch her grandchildren grow. Roseanne also had many friends that made her smile daily. She will always be remembered by her kindness and loving care. Roseanne is survived by her ex-husband Baptiste James Hunter; her children Grace Dumas, Billy Hunter, Reva Hunter, Daniel Hunter, Thunder Hunter, Sunshine Hunter; grandchildren Delphine Dumas, Latanya Hunter, Persayous Hunter, Kisastaow Bighetty, Rezelle Dumas, Deshawn Colomb, Hazel Colomb, Corriena Castel, Cyrus Castel, Julieanna, Kendra, Jared, Jordon Young. Roseanne is also survived by her sisters Margaret Campbell (Bob), Florentine Dumas, Marieanna Caribou (Marcel); brother Murdock Dumas; nieces Clara, Maryanne, Morningstar, Autumn, Serenity, Ave, Lovelynn, Joanna; nephews Wally Caribou, Paul Dumas, Larry Dumas, William Dumas; cousins Betty Bear, Yvonne Caribou, Joyce Bear, Maryanne Sinclair, Gladys and Robert Charlette, Barb Dumas, Flora and Ray Jorgenson. Roseanne was predeceased by her parents William Joseph Dumas and Marie Claire Dumas and many relatives too numerous to mention.
