Mommy was born Wednesday, March 5, 1944 at Moose Lake, Manitoba. Mommy was united in marriage to her life, loving partner Fred, September 26, 1960 at Cedar Lake, Manitoba. There were married for 52 years. Mommy enjoyed simple things in life, she loved playing bingo, playing cards and doing puzzles with family and friends. She also loved going to Gospel Jamborees with her sisters. Mommy was a loving and caring housewife and a mother to everyone she knew. All the visitors she had, she made them feel at home. Mommy passed away with all her family by her side at the age of 69 years at the Easterville Nursing Station, Friday, April 12, 2013. Mommy will be sadly missed by all her family especially her husband Fred. Mommy leaves to mourn her husband Fred; children Donna (Tom), Myrtle (Warren), Harvey (Alvina), Hubert (Darlene), Angus (Peggy), Gregory Thomas, Conrad Thomas, Lanny, Matthew and April whom she raised as her own; sisters Jane Lavallee, Caroline (Michael) Chartrand, Carol (Simon) Patchenose, Bernice (Alvin) Lavallee; aunts Mabel (Neil), Louise (Harold) McKay; uncle Hubert Buck; brothers-in-law Malcolm Thomas, Joe (Nancy), Charlie Thomas, Colin Lavallee; cousin Jack Captain; son-in-law David Mink; god children Loretta Patchenose, Miriam Lavallee, Linden Packo, Jimmy Miles. Mommy had 30 grandchildren, and among her nieces and nephews, all together she had 101 grandchildren. She had 39 great grandchildren and among her nieces and nephews she had 44 great grandchildren. Mommy also had 15 nieces and 10 nephews. Mommy was predeceased by her sons Gerald and Conrad Thomas; daughter Noreen Thomas (Mink); mother Matilda Starr Thomas; father Charlie Starr; step dad Albert Thomas; sisters Flora Thomas, Elsie Starr; brother Gillie Starr; in-laws Mary Ann and Cornelius Thomas; grandchildren Kelly and Harvey Thomas Jr.; daughter-in-law Angela Thomas; sister-in-law Emmelyne Thomas; grandparents Catherine and Angus Martin, Alec Buck; aunts and uncles Walter Buck, Camelia (Charles) Mercredi, Baptiste and Cecilia Buck, Jacob Starr, Flora Starr; nephews Donald Thomas, Sherbert Thomas, Peter Lewis Thomas.
