Shaun Gordon Robertson THE PAS, Manitoba Obituary

Shaun Gordon Robertson

Shaun was born Saturday, August 15, 1970 in Brandon, Manitoba, and passed away peacefully with family by his side, Saturday, November 4, 2017, at St. Anthony’s Hospital, The Pas, Manitoba, at the age of 47 years. While Shaun was growing up he had many interests; golfing, curling, fishing, snowmobiling, camping and working on vehicles but his passion was waterskiing. He would get pulled around the lake for hours if he could. On one of his family’s many camping trips to Seech Lake, he met the girl he would marry many years later. As an adult these interests continue. Shaun attended school in Hamiota, Manitoba and graduated from high school in 1989. He always had an interest in the electrical field but it took a couple of years to head down that path. While pursuing his dream of becoming a journeyman electrician he reconnected with Shelley. In May of 1994, Shaun proposed to Shelley at Seech Lake and they were wed on May 20, 1995 in Shoal Lake. Days later they headed to Drayton Valley, Alberta where Shaun was already employed as an electrician. On June 24, 1996 in Drayton Valley, Kyle Gordon was born and Shaun glowed when he found out he had a son. Shaun’s drive for being happy with his work had us moving to Edmonton, then Winnipeg, being self-employed in Erickson, The Pas with Kelsey School Division and finally with the Manitoba Government. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Shelley; son Kyle; best four legged friend Koda; parents Terry and Sharon; sister Melinda (Bryan) Tannahill; nephews Brett and Ryan; in-laws Larry and Diane Lukaschuk; Shawn (Ramona) Lukaschuk; niece Grace; nephew Harry; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins. Shaun was predeceased by grandparents Harry and Iva Marsh, John and Bessie Robertson; great uncle Bill Gibb; and uncle Stan Robertson. Celebration of Life Sunday, November 12, 2017 11:00 am Royal Canadian Legion Hall, The Pas, Manitoba Presider: James Hemauer In lieu of flowers, donations to The Pas Health Complex Foundation, Inc.
