Stanley Lavallee THE PAS, Manitoba Obituary

Stanley Lavallee

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my husband, our dad, our choom, a brother, an uncle, brother-in-law and a friend. Stanley McLeod Lavallee passed away peacefully at his residence at Easterville, Manitoba, Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the age of 62 years. Stanley was born Tuesday, May 18, 1954 at Cedar Lake, Manitoba. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Lavallee (nee Catcheway) on August 27, 1983. They shared 33 wonderful years together and had 6 children and 1 stepson he accepted as his own. Stanley accepted the Lord into his life on July 18, 1983. Stanley and Dorothy went to tent meetings all over during the summer, they enjoyed listening to gospel tapes at home and reading the Bible. Stanley worked as a medical driver, a bus driver for several years and security guard at the school, until he had to retire for health treatments. Stanley always started a conversation with people who stepped into his home, and they always left with a smile. He loved being with his grandchildren who came to see him often. They called him “papa” or “daddy”. Stanley accomplished a lot, living life to the fullest. He was a wonderful man who will be missed by his family and friends.
