Victoria was born Tuesday, December 5th, 1967 at Moose Lake, Manitoba to Ahab and Ruby McNabb. She grew up in Moose Lake where she received her education at the Moose Lake School. For a time she worked as a Homemaker for the Moose Lake Band, babysitting jobs, escorting patients to medicals. Victoria met Phillip Mink (Ponn) and they were united in marriage Saturday, August 2nd, 2008. They spent their married life in Easterville, Manitoba. Over time she became a travelling companion to her husband Ponn. Too Cap enjoyed life to its fullest, spending hours visiting with family and friends, especially her granddaughters: Rhianna and Kylia and her only son Jordan. She was always ready to help out with family and friends in need. Victoria loved cooking, cleaning, playing cards, bingo and especially her smoke. Some of her hobbies were collecting and taking pictures of family and friends. She also loved walking around in the bush, going for rides, and going on Facebook-even in the middle of the night. Victoria was a cancer survivor. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, godmother, and sister, sister in law, auntie, cousin and friend. Victoria “Too cap” passed away suddenly, Tuesday, March 29th, 2011 at Moose Lake, Manitoba, age 43 years. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Mink; only son, Jordan (Tracey); granddaughters, Rhianna and Kylia; parents, Ruby and Ahab McNabb; siblings, Catherine (Jeffery), Rod (Stephanie), Russell (Edna), Joseph and Georgina; brother-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Alfred (Cecilia) Mink, Norah (Albert) Wasecase, Stella Ledoux, Flora (Brian) Morden, Susan (Jimmy) Walker, Cynthia (Ben) Cook; nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and all her friends. Victoria was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Victoria Jane Mink; father-in-law, Walter Mink; step-mother, Clara Mink; grandparents, Joseph and Hilda Sinclair; George and Jeanie McNabb; siblings, Mary Olive and Ahab Jr.; godparents, Christina and Abraham Martin; sister-in-law, Priscilla Mink; aunties, uncles, cousins and relatives to numerous to mention. Wake Services: Saturday, April 2, 2011 and Sunday, April 3, 2011 St. John’s Anglican Church. Moose Lake, Manitoba. Funeral Service: Monday, April 4, 2011 at 11:00 am St. John’s Anglican Church.
