Wyatt Flett Obituary

Wyatt Stephen Flett was born Tuesday, January 4, 2000 in The Pas, Manitoba, to Serena and Glen Flett. Wyatt resided with his grandparents Stephen and Mary Head at Big Eddy. He attended nursery and preschool at the Hilda Young Childcare Center and was currently enrolled in grade 6 at Joe A. Ross School where he was a Junior Chief. Wyatt enjoyed many hobbies such as hockey, roller blading, video games, Facebooking and spending time with his friends and cousins. Wyatt joined hockey two years ago playing for the OCN Blues Hockey Team. He was competitive and didn’t like to lose. He loved hockey and he practiced after school until late at night at the Cowhead outdoor rink. He would phone either Mary, Kim or his mom, telling them he was hungry and he wanted something to eat. His favorite food was McDonald’s with super size fries and coke. Wyatt had a good sense of humor. He was courageous and compassionate. He was protective over his siblings, “Kimmie” and “June Bug” and only he could correct them. He loved spending time with his family and he was especially lonesome for his baby brother, Ethan Sam. Wyatt passed away, with family by his side, Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Children’s Hospital, Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 12 years.
