Obituary for Corporal Braden Broderick Durette

DURETTE, CPL. BRADEN BRODERICK - 1984-2011- Corporal Braden Broderick Durette of St Albert, Alberta and formerly of Hopewell Cape passed away unexpectedly at his residence on the 29th of September, 2011. The son of Brock and Fran (Gagnon) Durette, Braden was born on the 30th of September, 1984 in Fredericton, NB. Born into and raised in a military family, Braden followed his father's path and joined in 2007 after spending a few years working in carpentry. His love of carpentry never left him and even though he was in the military Braden still pursued his passion. Braden loved to laugh and always had a joke or funny story to tell. He loved his family very much and demonstrated it in his own special ways. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend to many. Whenever you needed anything Braden was there for you. He was a special person who will be remembered as much for his good character as for his sweet yet mischievous smile. Braden would want everyone to remember all the good times they shared and cherish the memories. He will be truly missed but will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. Braden will be deeply missed by his parents, Brock and Fran Durette of Hopewell Cape, his brothers Corey and Colton also of Hopewell Cape, his grandmother Louise Gagnon of Saint-Jean sur Richelieu, Québec, his special niece Olivia, several aunts, uncles, cousins, his best friend Chris Best and many more good friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ed and Helen Durette and maternal grandfather, Robert Gagnon. At the family's request there will be no visitation. A military funeral service, for family and friends, will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 5th, 2011 at 1400 hrs with Padre Lance Magdziak and Padre Richard Larsen officiating. Following the service a gathering with family and friends will be held in remembrance of Braden at the funeral home. In Braden's memory donations to the Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Department or to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of the Albert County Funeral Home, 4130 Route 114, Hopewell Cape, NB, E4H 3K2 (506) 734-2780
