For most of his life, he worked in the hardware business as both a manager and later as a manufacturer agent. Following his retirement, Eric became known as the \'Pen Man\', a master at making hand crafted wooden pens which he and his wife would showcase at several craft shows within the province. Eric was thrilled when commissioned to make pens for a Premier's conference for The Province of New Brunswick. Eric will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Joyce (Kinsman), his children, Bruce (Kim) of Quispamsis, Jeffrey of Bouctouche, Michael of Notre Dame, Sandra (Chris) of Sarnia, ON and his cherished grandchildren for which loved dearly, Zackery, Chaz, Sarah, Alex, Mitchell and Lauren. Besides his parents, Eric was predeceased by brothers, Allan, Lewis, Curtis, Manning, and sisters, Gertie and Leotia, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview, (869-2007). In respecting his wishes there will be no public visitation.
