It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doreen “Reen” Margaret Martin announces her sudden passing. Doreen passed away from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, July 18th, 2019 at the age of 67 years. Doreen is predeceased by her son - Darren Martin; parents - Edward & Bridget Martin; parents-in-law - Patrick & Mary Martin; brothers - Jim Martin and Gerard Martin; siblings-in-law - Patrick Martin, Leslie Martin, Rose Bromley and Ethel Martin. Left to cherish many wonderful memories is her husband of 42 years, Ben Martin, Brent’s Cove, NL; daughter - Trina Martin, Fort McMurray, AB; grandson - Noah Martin; brother - Jerome Martin; siblings-in-law - Elizabeth Martin, Maude Newhook (Robert), Gerald Martin, Roy Martin (Tina), Aiden Martin (Lillian), Paul Martin (Mary Lou), Raymond Martin, Joseph Martin (Phyllis), Jacinta Sinnott (Robert), Sharon Martin and Verbena Winsor (Ray) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Father Tom Duffenais conducted the Mass of Christian Burial from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent's Cove, NL on Monday, July 22nd, 2019. Interment followed from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brent's Cove, NL.
