It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Joseph Thomas Gillis announces his passing. Joseph passed away from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at the age of 83 years. Joseph is predeceased by his parents – John and Clare Gillis; siblings – Veronica (John), Margaret, Eva, Tillie, Gregory and Alloysius; sister-in-law – Lucy. Left with warm and loving memories is his wife of 59 years, Loretta Gillis; children – David Gillis, Donald Gillis, Deborah Clarke (Sid) and Darren Gillis; grandchildren – Liam; Robyn (Tyler), Robert; Ian; siblings – Ronald (Tilley), Alexander (Maryann), Thomas (Donna), James (Dulcie), John (Sharon) and Norma; siblings-in-law – Fred, Michael, Gerry and Rita as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Private Family Celebration of Life Service took place from Foster Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, July 28th, 2019.
