MICHAEL JOSEPH WADE 1958 – 2020 Passed peacefully away at his home in the presence of his loving family, Michael Joseph Wade, in his 61st year. Michael was a loving, attentive husband and father. After achieving his LPN in 1995, Michael worked for Central Health where he was a caring and compassionate caregiver. He has touched the life of many people throughout the years, and he was well respected and loved by his work family as well as the patients he cared for. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Lena Wade, and “grandad”, Joseph O’Reilly. Leaving to mourn are his loving wife Margaret (Peg), his daughters Renee and Jennifer, and his precious grandchild and buddy Joel. Also leaving to mourn are his siblings, Frances Power (Colin), Mary Jane Bennett (John), Anne O’Keefe (Bill), and Gerard (Glenda). The family would like to express sincere thanks to the Cancer Clinic, Palliative Care Team, and the many friends and family who were there for help and support during his illness. Father Moses Nwokocha will conduct the funeral mass at the Sacred Heart Church in Bishop's Falls, NL on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Urn bearer will be his grandson, Joel McAllister. Flowers gratefully accepted by the family, or donations may be made in his memory to the Grand Falls-Windsor Cancer Clinic. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
