Albert Walter Kearley October 8th, 1932- February 14th, 2017 It is with deep sorrow and regret we inform of the completion of Al's Earthly Journey. He has been surrounded by his adoring family all of his life and his death was no exception. Al is predeceased by his father William Kearley; mother, Julie (Barrett) Kearley; sister, Louise Frecker; brother Bill Kearley; father-in-law, Bill Frost; mother-in-law, Mae (Bussey) Frost; brothers-in-law, Alain Frecker, Al May, and Wallace Bursey; and his nephews, Derek Sheppard and Alain "Bob" Frecker. Left to celebrate his wonderful life... Devoted wife and partner of over 50 years, Diana; sons Wade (Kathy); Geoff (Elizabeth); Paul (Judy); Neil (Colleen); daughter, Tonya-Mae Kearley Russell (Kelly); grandchildren: Julie, Sasha, Jessica, Oliver, Shannan, Alex, Lauren, Morgan, Mason, Naomi, and Tamsyn; step-grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Stacey; Laura Russell Sparks (Mike); great grandchildren, Luke and Annika Kearley; Sawyer and Everly Tremblett; siblings, Nina May; Ruby (Eric) Hammond; Joan Bursey; Helen (Clem) Leblanc; sisters-in-law, Lillian Frost; Dorothy (Vincent) Wiscombe; Margaret (Ken) Sheppard; Liz (Ford) White; Shirley (Scott) Norman. A large family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Beyond his immediate family, Al leaves behind an amazing and eclectic circle of loved ones including his friends at the Avalon Woodturner’s Guild, the Sports and Volunteer Community of Conception Bay South, the Professional Community of Tradespeople in Refrigeration and Appliance Repair he pioneered and helped develop from the early 1950s; and the amazing staffs of both the Hoyle’s Escasoni and Pleasant-view Towers LTC facilities where he spent the last four years of his life. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday, February 19 from 2pm – 4pm & 7pm – 9pm, Monday, February 20 from 2pm – 4pm & 7pm – 9pm. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11 am from the James J. Hickey Memorial Chapel, Kelligrews. In lieu of flowers, Al has requested that thoughtfulness and care be shown financially to the Children's Wish Foundation.
