O’Brien, Alphonsus (Phonse) 1947 - 2018 Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Complex in the presence of his family on Tuesday, March27, 2018 age 70 years . Predeceased by parents, Alphonsus and Josephine O’Brien, brother David, step- brother Jerry, mother and father in law Clarence and Anne Pomeroy. Left with loving memories are his wife Loretta and his children, Nicole ( Rod Porter), Natasha, William Pomeroy (Terri- Lynn), his precious grandchildren Aaron, Joel, Presley, brothers, Peter, Pat, Cyril, Tony, sisters, Ann (Ralph Wisemen) Carmelita, special niece Donna (Craig), Aunts Agnes, Mary, brothers- in –law, Clarence (Bun), George (Carmelita) , Ernie (Jessie), special friend Rick Fowler. Also a large circle of relative and friends. Phonse enjoyed walking and loved the outdoor activities. Visitation at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday and Friday from 12 p.m.-4p.m & 7p.m-9p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10 am from St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Manuel’s.
