Bursey, Benjamin A. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, August 9, 2014 of Long Pond, age 83 yrs. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary Ann, brother William, sister Sue Scott, mother and father-in-law Edward and Emma Newell, 2 brothers-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law, grandsons Matthew and twin brother. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 62 years Jean, daughters Elizabeth Bishop (Robert deceased), Debbie Warford (Allan), son David (Ettie) 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, sisters Florence, Harriet, Mabel, brother Hayward (Pat), sister-in-law Myrtle, his home care worker Renee. Also nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday 2 – 9 pm, Monday 10 – 9 pm, Tuesday 10 – 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
