Calvin Cable

Passed peacefully away at the HSC on August 28, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, Calvin Cable aged 74 years. Pre deceased by his parents, Chesley and Doris (Butler) Cable; brothers Chesley Cable Jr., and Hayward Cable; sisters Jane Cable, Edith Upshall, Olga (Willis) Fagan; and Grace (Oliver) Humpheries; parents in law Hazel and Wilson Eason, brother in law Wayne Eason. Leaving to give God thanks and to celebrate his life are loving wife of 45 years Greta (Eason); daughter Amanda (Greg) Taylor; son Adam (Crystal) Cable; and the joys of his life, his grandchildren Tatum Cable, Zachary and Grace Taylor; sisters in law Fanny (Charl) Taylor, Ruby Cable and Audene Eason; and brother in law Sam Upshall; as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews. A sincere thank you is extended to the nurses and doctors of the CCU for their outstanding care and compassion. Resting at Hickey’s Funeral Home Thursday, August 30, 2 pm to 4pm; and 7 pm to 9 pm. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will take place at All Saints’ Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Friday, August 31 at 11 am. No flowers by request but donations in Calvin’s memory may be made to PWRDF (The Anglican Church’s agency for sustainable development, relief, refugees, and global justice in Canada and the world).
