Abbott, Charles Stanley Passed peacefully away at the L. A. Miller Centre on Friday, June 26th, 2015 of Long Pond, age 69 years. Predeceased by parents Ida and Stanley Abbott. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Janet, son Greg (Tracey), precious granddaughter Grace whom he adored, brothers, Fred (Carm), Art (Violet), Don (Barb), Earl (Sharon), sister Jean, sisters-in-law Gertrude (Roger), Barb (Andrew), brothers-in-law Harold (Betty), Robert (Linda), Ronnie, Tommy (Betty), Ontario and Tony. Also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the pain management team of the Leonard A. Miller Centre, Dr’s, Nurses and Staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Clinic, and the Palliative Care Unit . Your kindness and compassion will be forever in our hearts. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday and Monday from 2 – 9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 11 am from Topsail United Church. Interment in the United Cemetery, Upper Gullies. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Healthcare Foundation.
