Whitten, Daryl Hubert Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the HSC on April 21, 2017, age 56 yrs. Predeceased by his parents Hubert (2011) and Shirley (1995) Whitten (nee Comerford) and brother Glenn (2016). Leaving to mourn his daughter Alyssa Critch (St. John’s), sister Linda Beehan (David) CBS, brother Craig (Brenda) Ottawa, sister Joann, Sudbury, sister-in-law Tracey Whitten, Trenton, Ontario, nephews Joshua, Christopher, Michael, Benjamin, nieces Victoria, Danielle, Emma and Leah; a special Aunt and Friend Sandra Harnett (John); a great buddy Stan Bowman, Labrador City; and a large circle of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. A special thank-you to the Staff of the Emergency and CCU departments at HSC. Dr. Fagan and Dr. Connors and their teams. Nurses Linda, Carole, Mandi and Dayna. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 10:30 am from St. Edward’s Church, Kelligrews. Interment in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Daryl’s memory, to a charity of one’s choice, would be greatly appreciated.
