Butler, Douglas (Retired Employee of Newfoundland Power) Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre in the presence of his family on Friday, August 3, 2012 of Foxtrap age 77 yrs. Leaving to mourn his wife Hilda of 59 yrs, 7 daughters Janice Eason (Nelson), Elizabeth Bishop (Bert), Diane Lear (Richard), Cindy Petten (Victor), Ella Fagan (Melvin), Maxine Petten (Shirley), Tina Bussey (Calvin), 4 sons Ralph (Dianne), John (Carol), Colin (Helen), Jeff (Joanne), 29 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Marie and Grace Butler and their families, brother-in-law Ralph Petten (Minnie) and their family. Also nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday and Monday from 10 am – 9 pm, Tuesday from 10 am – 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 2 pm in All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
