Dawe, Eric George Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on Saturday, January 14, 2012 of Cherry Lane, Manuel’s age 86 yrs. Left with 58 years of happy memories, his wife and love of his life, Abbie (Porter). Cherishing his memory, are their seven children John (Elizabeth), Earl (Barbara), Neil (Maxine), Carl (Nancy), Paul (Patricia), Loretta (Maurice O’Brien), and Jennifer as well as 14 grandchildren and two great – granddaughters. Predeceased by brothers Ken, Cray, Lloyd, and sister Rita and survived by Gerald and Mary. Eric retired from CN Telecommunications, having worked 44 years as a linesman. He was blessed with 27 years of healthy happy retirement. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday, 3 – 9 pm, Monday, 2 – 9 pm. Funeral service in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11 am. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
