<p>Hutchings, George (Frere’)</p><p>Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his loving wife Nora, May 2, 2015. He was a member of CBS Lions Club for 44 years and Co-founder of CBS Volunteer Fire Department. Left with a lifetime of memories are his children Ann (Terry Wade), Sharon (Jim Smith), Brian (Cathy), Linda (Thomas Kane), Suzan (Dennis White), Jennifer (Curtis Adams), Rod (Rena) and grandchildren Terrence, Jonathon , Chelsea (Ben), Robyn (Sheldon), James, Stephanie (Luc), Christopher (Andrea), Katie (Mitchell), Lindsey (Charles), Robert (Danielle), Ronnie (Melanie), Emily (Craig), Ashley and Jillian. Also great-grandchildren Brenden, Nadiah, Ava, Addisyn, Macie, Kathryn, Nathan, Rylan and soon to be Baby Wells. Also remembered by brother Bob Hutchings, sisters-in law Helen Smith, Lucy Nickerson and Jeannette Gleeson and numerous nieces, nephews. A special thank you to the exceptional staff of Meadow Creek Retirement Centre, who go above and beyond each and every day. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday from 3 – 9 pm, Sunday from 2 – 9 pm. Funeral service to take place from St. John the Evangelist Church, Topsail on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 11 am. Inurnment in St. Thomas of Villanova Cemetery, Topsail.
