George Haines

Haines, George (World War 11 Veteran, British Air Force and CNR Retiree) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our precious dad, age 91 yrs, at his home in Upper Gullies on MAY 4, 2007, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He leaves with cherished and loving memories his devoted wife of 58 years Edna, sons Noel (Deneal). Paul (Jean), and daughter Valerie (Albert), six precious grandchildren whom he adored: Owen (Nicole), Lynn (Jody), Jeremy, Tanielle (Vern), Adam and Brittany, two beloved great grandchildren, Mitchell and Tiffany, sister in law Carrie Haines, brother in law Ted Bailie. Also, a large circle of nieces, nephews , relatives and friends. The family would like to send out special thanks to Lilly Ricketts, Pat Reid and Jean Andrews for all their kindness and support they gave to Dad during his illness. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday 10 - 12 noon, 2-4 pm, 7-9 pm, and on Monday 10 -12 noon. Funeral Service in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Gullies on Monday ,May 7 at 2 pm. Internment in the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies. Donations may be made to St. Peter's Accessibility Fund.Upper Gullies.
