Dawe Gerald William August 21, 1941 – April 17, 2019 Passed peacefully away surrounded by family, friends, and staff of Lions Manor, Gerald Dawe of Manuel’s. Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Mary Dawe and siblings Ken, Rita, Eric, Cray, Lloyd, and Mary. Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend Greta (nee Piercey); step-son Calvin (Dale); grandchildren Anne, Stephen (Danielle) and Ben; great-grandchildren Drew, Thomas and Graham; special nieces Lillian and Loretta as well as a wide circle of family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Lions Manor for their professionalism and love. Visitation will take place in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday April 20th , 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9pm, and Sunday April 21st, 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Monday, April 22nd at 11:00 am. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
