Dowden, Glenda It is with great sadness that the family of Glenda Dowden (nee Butler) announces her sudden passing on August 15, 2007, while on vacation in Ontario. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Charles , son Rodney (Donna),daughters Roxanne, Renee (Roger) and Rachel. Glenda was the adored “Nanny” of grandchildren Joshua, Ryan, Luke, Carly and Keigan. She will also be remembered with great fondness by her sisters Esther, Susie, Ida and Muriel and brother Clarence. Glenda’s generosity and kind heart will remain an inspiration to us all. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of her life will take place at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Upper Gullies on Monday, August 20, 2007 at 2 pm. Cremation to follow.
