Gus Taylor We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, grand-father, great grand-father, Gus Taylor, age 85 of Kelligrews. He passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Caribou Memorial Veterans Pavilion, St.John's, March 2, 2019. Predeceased by his parents, Eli & Louise Taylor, his wife Doris, sons Danny & Stephen, daughter-in-law Gail, Granddaughter Wandaleigh , brother Bill and sister Hazel. Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts, sons Heber, Gus Jr., and David (Denise). Daughter Diane (Gary), sisters Emily, Effie, Debbie & Doreen . Brother Bob and Brother -in-law George and a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and close friends. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff at VP2 for their care and compassion over the past 2 years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army CBS Corps, Long Pond on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 2 pm. Interment in The Salvation Army Cemetery, Long Pond. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Gus’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, Long Pond.
