Banfield, Gwendolyn Elizabeth (nee Bursey) 1954 – 2011 Passed peacefully away after a lengthy battle with cancer on Friday, May 27,2011 age 56 yrs of Long Pond. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Terry, her only daughter Amanda Bursey (fiancé Michael Nightingale and family) and Amanda’s father Mike Woodrow, brothers Don Bursey, Doug Moores (Barb), mother-in-law Joan Banfield and the Banfield family. Also, other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the Salvation Army Corps, Long Pond on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 2:30 pm. Cremation to follow.
