Metcalfe Helen (Mercer) April 5, 1938 – April 25, 2018 Passed suddenly & peacefully away, Helen Metcalfe, beloved wife of David Metcalfe & mother to son Howard & daughter Pamela. Predeceased by parents Charles & Ethel Mercer, brother Jacob (Jane), brother-in-law Ches Crisby & son-in-law Mike Lantos. Leaving to mourn sister Irene Crisby & her children Charlie (Regina), Paul (Allison) & Elizabeth (Rick), brother-in-law Bruce Metcalfe (Lilly) & their daughters Annette (Val Coates), Kimberley (Ed Frazee) & Lori Metcalfe. Also fondly remembered by other relatives & friends for her strength of spirit, kind heart & love of her flower garden. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday, April 28 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 4:30 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral Service to take place from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 2 pm. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
