James Joseph Brazil. It is with great sadness that we , the family of Jim Brazil announce his sudden, yet peaceful passing at his home in Paradise on Tuesday January 17, 2012, aged 75 years. Predeceased by his parents John and Helen Brazil, Brothers Daniel, Bernard and Thomas, Sisters Mary and Ann. Leaving to mourn his loving and caring partner of 29 years Dorothy Coates Butler; Step children Debbie Squires (Brad), Hubert Butler, Glen Butler (Christine), Grandchildren Calyssa and Christian Squires, Melanie Butler and Miah Butler. Brothers Gerald and Edward Bell Island. Sister Margaret Skehans (Bill). Special nephew and buddy Todd Skehans. Sister in law Viola Brazil. Also the extended Coates family. His cherished pets, Ginger and Whiskers, also nephews, nieces and a large circle of family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday January 19, 2-9pm. Friday January 20 St Michael’s Church, Bell Island 12(noon) to 1:30pm followed by funeral mass at 2pm. Interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery Bell Island. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or St. Michael’s Church, Bell Island.
