Petten, June R.N. nee Russell June was a graduate of the General Hospital, School of Nursing Class of 1962, and have worked all her nursing career at the Waterford Hospital. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful person who resided in the communities of Garnish and Kelligrews and passed away in Kelligrews on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, age 74 yrs. Loving wife of 49 years to her husband and best friend Haydyn. Mother to Tina (Jack) and Russell (Michelle), grandmother of Jessica and Kelsey, ninny to Meghan, Christopher, Tiffany, Kiara, Iain and Nevaeh, great-grandmother of Izabelle, sister to Derm and Greg (Joan). Also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday and Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral service to take place in St. Edward’s Church, Kelligrews on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11 am. Interment in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
