Bishop, Leo J. Passed peacefully away at the DVA Pavillion, St. John’s, on February 11, 2009, age 90 yrs, of St. Joseph’s, Salmonier (S.M.B.) He was a WWII Veteran (Royal Air Force). Predeceased by his wife Margaret (Spinks) , parents John and Elizabeth (Peddle) , brother Patrick J Bishop, sister Mary (Noftall) and Clare , special friends Judy Perfitt and Mary. Left with fond and loving memories, sisters Madeline Quinlan (Holyrood), Margaret (U.S.A.) , sister in law Effie Bishop (Foxtrap), nieces Effie (Richard), Foxtrap, Betty (Bruce), Topsail, nephew Patrick C. Bishop (Bonita), Calgary, great nieces, Lisa, Krista, Nicole, great nephew , Patrick L.. Also, staff of DVA Pavillion, special friend John Parrott and a large circle of other family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass in St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, Kelligrews on Friday , February 13, 2009 at 930 AM. Internment in the R.C. Cemetery, Kelligrews. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to Dr H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
