It is with great sadness that the family of the lovely Linda Smith announces her passing at the Leonard A. Miller center on may 18, 2019, just one week shy of her 59th birthday. Linda is predeceased by her one true love - husband Robert (Lee) Smith; her one in a million dad - Samuel George Smith; niece Patricia Paula Hannebury; brother -in-law John; Aunt Elizabeth Peach; and grandparents Adelaide and Robert(Adah) Hamilton. Leaving to mourn, with fond and loving memories: Son Perry (Lori), Daughters Tammy (Gordie), Christa (Michael), Special Daughter Brittany (Mac) and her parents Laura and Nurk. Nine grandchildren: Tyler (Melissa and baby girl arriving in June), Tyson, Lindsay, Nan’s special buddy P.J., Hailey, Kyle, Christian, Autumn, Alexander. Great grandchildren: Loik; Jordyn and Isac (great nan’s pride and joy, and their mom - Kaitlyn Molloy). Mother, Alice Ruth Lawrence; sisters Annie Smith(Malcolm), Violet Adelaide Hannebury (Clyde), Pauline Brushett; long time friend Flossie; a great number of nieces and nephews; and a large circle of extended family and friends, who loved her dearly. To know her was to love her, her radiant smile will shine in our hearts forever, her light will guide our way; a beautiful soul gone too soon, leaving a legacy of love and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m, Friday, May 24, in the chapel, at Hickey’s Funeral Home; in Kelligrews, Conception Bay South, Newfoundland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. The family will be accepting visitors this week, at Linda’s home, 57 B Peachy Town Road, Foxtrap.
