Myrtle Button (Hunt) May 18th, 1937 – July 19th, 2019 Passed away at home with her loving family by her side on July 19, 2019. Myrtle was a patient & caring person who had 2 great passions: her family & the love for the great outdoors. She loved berry picking, fishing, moose hunting, trouting and gardening. Although she retired in CBS, she loved to spend time in her house in Badger’s Quay. Myrtle is predeceased by her son Wayne and daughter Diane, parents Emma and Thomas, brother Percy. Leaving to mourn her husband of 63 years Jesse, son Roger (Caroline), daughter Crystal, special great-grandson Daniel, brother Llewellyn, sisters Susie (Cecil), Mary (Alvin), sisters-in-law Trixie and Shirley, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Also other family and friends. Visitation will take place in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday from 3 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm, Monday from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral service will take place from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Upper Gullies on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2 pm. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies. Flowers accepted.
