Nora Hutchings (Gleeson) Obituary

Hutchings, Nora J. (Gleeson) Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, May 2nd , at the age of 84. Left with a lifetime of memories are her husband of 62 years, George, and her children Ann (Terry Wade), Sharon (Jim Smith), Brian (Cathy), Linda (Thomas Kane), Suzan (Dennis White), Jennifer (Curtis Adams), Rod (Rena) and grandchildren Terrence, Jonathon (Krystal), Chelsea (Ben), Robyn (Sheldon), James, Stephanie (Luc), Christopher (Andrea), Katie (Mitchell), Lindsey (Charles), Robert (Danielle), Ronnie (Melanie), Emily (Craig), Ashley and Jillian. Also, great-grandchildren Brenden, Nadiah, Ava, Addisyn, Macie, Kathryn and Hot Dog Nan’s special boys Nathan & Rylan. Also remembered by sisters Helen Smith and Lucy Nickerson, sister-in-law Jeannette Gleeson, brother-in-law Bob Hutchings and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the exceptional staff of Meadow Creek Retirement Centre, who go above and beyond each and every day. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday 3 – 9 pm, and Monday 2 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, May 5th at 10:30 am from St. Thomas of Villanova Parish, Manuels. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the team “Circle of Friends” for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s CIBC Run for the Cure.
