Chubbs, Olive It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Olive Chubbs, age 87. She passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at her home in Kelligrews on March 1, 2019. Predeceased by her loving husband James (1995), parents James and Johanna Greene (Gambo); brothers Thomas, Joseph, Ronald and Alex; sisters Philomena, Frances, Madeline, Johanna and son-in-law Carl LeDrew. Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts, sons Alvan, Darrin (Jeannette); daughter Marina LeDrew; grandchildren Tony, Jennifer, James and Jagger; great-grandchildren Matthew, Christopher, Jenna, Madison, Hannah, Raelynn; brother Leo Greene; sisters Marion Cotter, Shirley Rowsell and Mary Lambert. Also mourning Olive’s loss are many nieces, nephews and friends. A heartfelt thank you to Betty Barran and Provincial Homecare workers for their care and compassion in the last few months. Thank you to the staff at Hickey’s Funeral Home, Kelligrews for their professional services. Visitation will take place in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday & Sunday from 2 pm – 9 pm, Monday from 10 am – 12 noon. Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Edward’s Church, Kelligrews on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 1 pm. Interment in St. Edward’s Cemetery, Kelligrews.
