Young, Robert Graham January 29, 1952 – May 1, 2012 Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family at the Health Sciences Centre on May 1, 2012. Predeceased by his father Varick, his sister Sandy, and father-in-law Reginald Strickland. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Sharon (Strickland), his mother Francis, mother-in-law Myrtle Strickland, his children Corey, Shawn (Melissa), stepchildren Shannon Stone, Suzanne Grouchy (Damien), Clifford Stone (Heather), 7 grandchildren: Evan, Brianna, Amber, Jackson, Damien, Colby and Dominic, his brothers and sisters, special sister Sharon (Joe), Connie (Jess), Karen (Joe), Donna, Les, Wendy (Rodney), Angie (Roland), Cindy (Michael), Rick, his brothers and sisters-in-law Doreen (Doug), Ross (Joan), James (Marion), Rosemary (Conrad), Debbie (Gerard), Phyllis (David), Grace (Larry), Dora (Cecil), Louise (John), 36 nieces and nephews, 18 great-nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the staff and residents of Allison’s Manor, to everyone who supported us through this time. Special thank you brother-in-law Joe Dias who helped Bob tremendously through his sickness, we cannot thank you enough. Bob fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. He will be missed and always remembered by his family and friends. At his request, cremation has taken place and a private service for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mental Health Foundation in his memory.
