Petten, Samuel Passed peacefully away on March 30, 2014 in the presence of his loving family, Samuel Petten in his 89th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Florence and baby Jean, his brothers John and Jake. Leaving to mourn daughters Sadie (Norman), Nancy (Carl), Jeanette (Dereck), grandchildren Christine (Clyde), Billy (Heather), Jason (Erin), Bethany, Melanie, Megan , Robyn, great-grandchildren Andy, Natalie and a large circle of relatives and friends. Sam’s life and greatest love was his family which was the greatest gift he gave us all and will be passed on through our generations to come. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday 1 pm – 9 pm, Tuesday 10 am – 9 pm, Wednesday 10 am – 11:30 am. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 2 pm in St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Bareneed. Interment in St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery, Bareneed.
