Eason – Shirley (Buck) Passed peacefully away after a lengthy battle with lung disease at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, April 2, 2011, age 66 yrs of Manuel’s, C.B.S. Predeceased by parents Shirley & Beatrice Eason; sister Dallas Warford; granddaughter Samantha Eason; parents-in-law Hugh & Mary Nugent and brother-in-law Ronald Nugent. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 47 years Helen; two daughters: Jackie (Dave) Stanley, Gail; one son: Ken ( Stephanie); one precious grand-daughter Ashley; two sisters: Doreen (Jerry) Hanrahan, Linda (Roy) Greeley; Brothers-in-law: Joseph (Cheri) Nugent, Tom (Barb) Nugent, Eugene (Jenny) Nugent, David (Ellen) Nugent; sisters-in-law: Rita (Bill) Carroll, Marie (Dale) McFarland, Margaret (Gus – deceased) Lee, Suzanne (Brian) Peters, Rosalind (Jerome) McNeill , Kathy (Ambrose) Gaulton and Mary Nugent, his faithful canine companion Sandy, as well many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., 2:00- 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Topsail on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11 am. Internment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Lung Association or the Children’s Wish Foundation.
