David Stephen Penney August 10, 1967 – April 10, 2018 Topsail, Conception Bay South “Let’s go home”: The last words spoken as Steve prepared to go to his heavenly home to be reunited with the mother he adored (Georgina Penney). Lovingly remembered and cherished by his wife, Wanda and their two daughters, Li-Anna and Georgia; his father, John; his sister, Dorothy and his brothers, Melvin (Wanda) and Fred (Valerie). Also leaving to mourn his parents-in-law, Gerald and Gladys Greenslade, sisters-in-law, Gail (Jake); Debbie (Bernie); Donna (Dennis); and Kim (Steve) and brother-in-law Gerry (Renee), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and special friends. Resting at Hickey’s Funeral Home in Kelligrews with visitation on Friday, April 13th from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral service to be held at Faith Pentecostal Church, Foxtrap, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 14th. Donations would be appreciated for the Terry Fox Foundation which Steve proudly supported as a member of Terry’s Team; flowers also welcome.
