Banfield, Terrence Horatio September 17, 1959 – March 13, 2012. Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer, aged 52 years. Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, father Horatio and Aunt Carrie. Leaving with loving memories his mother Joan, brothers Rick (Leona) and David (Sherry); sisters Wanda May (Victor), Jackie Williams (David) and Debbie Follett (Wayne); step daughter Amanda and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to all friends who supported us through this difficult time with a special thank you to Dr. Tom Brien, Pharmacist Derek Long, Social Worker Melanie Hiscock, niece Mandy Banfield, special friends Lloyd and Marlene George and Major and Mrs. Pritchett and all of Terry’s friends at the Salvation Army, Long Pond, CBS. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews from 2- 4 and 7 – 9 pm on Wednesday, March 14th and from 10 -12 on Thursday, March 15th. Funeral service on Thursday, March 15th at 2:00 pm at the Salvation Army Church in Long Pond. Cremation to follow. A donation to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Long Pond is gratefully accepted as are flowers.
