Pumphrey, Thomas William It is with profound sadness the family of Thomas William Pumphrey announce his passing at home after a short illness on April 7th at the age of 64. From the time he became sick, Tom was surrounded by his family and friends. Predeceased by his father Kevin. Left to mourn, wife Marg (nee Park); daughter Heather Ryan (Patrick), son Andrew (Maurita), grandchildren Janaya, Silas and Hudson. Left with a life time of wonderful memories, his mother Valerie, sisters Peggy Pumphrey, children Kelsey and Kevin; Betty Pumphrey, daughter Sara Wells (David Hynes); Joan Pye (Eric), children Rick (Ulrica), Terri-Lynn (Tyrone Broderick), and Jamie (Leslie); brothers-in-law Don, Rod (Donna), Harry (Marilyn), Paul (Barbara) and sisters-in-law Joan Fisher (Art), Mary Russell, Carol Ann Crossley (John), Julie Pierik (Paul), Dorothy and Dolores.Tom loved his wife, children and his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He leaves them with many memories. Tom loved hockey, his motorcycle and time with family and friends. Visitation at Hickey's Funeral Home in Kelligrews, Monday, April 10th, 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday, April 11th from Mary Queen of the World Church, Topsail Road at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be the Canadian Cancer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador or charity of your choice.
