Bishop, Walter (Wally) Born 1928, St.John’s,NL. Promoted to Glory on Monday, December 5th, 2011 at the Hoyle’s Home. Predeceased by his parents Heber and Gertrude Bishop, in-laws Henry and Mabel Pottle, sister Mary Macey (Harry) and son-in-law Clarence O’Brien. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 59 yrs. Maizie (nee Pottle). Cherished father to daughters Roslyn Cooper (Ralph), Major Lorraine Shea (Roland), Marilyn O’Brien, Rosemarie Dobson (Nic) and son Paul,11 grandchildren, 19 great- grandchildren. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Wednesday 10am-12 noon. Celebration of Walter’s Life to be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 2 pm at The Salvation Army Conception Bay South Corps, Long Pond. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Long Pond.
