William Robert Batten Age 93 of Foxtrap August 11, 1925-Feburary 21, 2019 It is with Great sadness and broken hearts that we the family of William Batten announce his sudden but peaceful passing at the HSC. Dad was smiling all the way as he was rejoined with the love of his life Florence. Predeceased by parents Irene and Alex Batten, his three brothers Walt, Ray, George and Sister Marion. He leaves to mourn with Wonderful memories 3 brothers Max, Vic, Clayt and sister Marge, also 8 sons Bill (Donna), Ray (Eileen), Paul (Daphne), Wayne (Amy), Jim (Mary), Carl (Alvina), Rick (Lily), Dennis (Wanda) 4 Daughters Joan (Rodger), Joy (Adrian), Janice (Rod), Jennifer (Lloyd) and a large circle of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great Grandchildren which were his pride and joy. Visitation to take place at Hickeys Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Celebration of Dad’s life will take place 2 pm, Sunday, February 24th at Faith Pentecostal Church, Foxtrap. Interment at Reader’s Hill, Pentecostal Cemetery, Long Pond.
