Dear Gary and family:
I regret that I haven't been able to attend the visitation and service, but we've had my own mother on 24-hour watch since Tuesday morning. I remember your mother fondly, particularly the patience and good humor she would display when a bunch of us would descend on your basement and raise all manner of ruckus with enough amplifying equipment to fill a room 10 times the size. She always made us feel welcome and was always gracious enough not to look too happy when we finally packed everything away again and left. I know how much you have thought and talked about her well-being since our re-acquaintance in 2002, and how much you have worked to be available when your parents needed your help. I know how much you will miss your mother. Our condolences and prayers for the family and for the progress of your mother's soul.

Ed and family;
We were saddened to hear of Winnies' passing. We were instantly reminded of all the happy times we spent together in Labrador City and of how much Winnie enjoyed a game of cards. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
