GOLDSWORTHY Myrtle M. August 22, 1928 – April 11, 2017 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myrtle Goldsworthy announce her passing at Lakeside Homes, Gander on Tuesday April 11th, 2017 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Goldsworthy (1973); second husband Freeman Simms (2013); great granddaughter Stephanie Kelly; son-in-law Tim Kelly; parents Albert & Elizabeth Coulbourne; brother Hubert (Gertie), Earnest; sisters: Matilda (Gordon Spracklin), Elsie (Frank Myers); and brothers-in-law Mac Youden, Derm Loder, Herbie Jack Foster. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Rex of Toronto, ONT., Guy (Corenna) of Gander, NL.; daughters: Shirley Kelly of Gander, Diane Stead (Wallace) of Gander, NL.; grandchildren: Ron (Deanna) of Paradise, NL., Steven (Joan) of Calgary, AB., Rodney (Naomi) of Gander, NL., Vicki (Michael) of Grand Prairie, AB., Craig of St. Johns, NL., Melissa (Gerard) of St. Johns, NL.; sisters Dorothy Foster of Springdale, NL., Margaret Youden of Cupids, NL., also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. At the family’s request there will be a private family service held at Stacey’s Funeral Home, with burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Myrtle’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society.
