He is already dearly missed by his beautiful, sweet daughters Lucy and Emily (Dani), Stephanie, his partner, and step-son Andrew. His Mom, Joan, and his sisters Leah (Craig) and Laura (John), his nieces and nephews Lavinia, Oakley, and Jane, plus an extended family including Nana B, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is missed by a large circle of friends near and far and predeceased by his Dad, Danny, and grandparents John Watkins and Samuel and Bernice Feltham. John passed away suddenly on January 23rd 2020 and we were not ready. We were not ready to say goodbye. We had too much left to do, too much to experience, too much to plan, and too many places to go. We still have more adventures to come, more hikes to take, and more cuddles on the couch to enjoy. We need to play more music at Uncle Jerry’s and drink more coffee and wine on Mom’s deck in the summer. There are more coves in the bay to explore, more mussels to pick, and more fires on the beaches to light. We are not ready to say goodbye, you left too soon. John Watkins Feltham was born on September 7, 1979 and was raised in Glovertown, Newfoundland. He was a vibrant, creative and musical being with a light that shone so bright you couldn’t help but be captivated by his presence. He enjoyed success professionally; receiving praise for his passion and capability everywhere he went. It was easy to see from an early age that John was talented in the arts; he was exceptional in drawing and painting until music became his passion. There was nothing else he would rather do than play his guitar or his piano... whether we liked it or not! His precious girls were his life and he was a dedicated father in every respect. By request of the family there will be no funeral service. A community event to honour John has been organized by friends and family for January 26, 2020 at 6pm at the Lions Club, Glovertown. Donations in memory of John may be made to Lucy and Emily during the event on Sunday, honouring his life. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Oram's Funeral Home, Glovertown.
