Passed peacefully away at the Golden Years Estate in Grand Falls-Windsor, on Friday, October 18th, 2019, Mr. Arthur Thomas Cox of Wreck Cove in his 92nd year. Arthur leaves to mourn his loving family: sons, John ( Stella ) at Wreck Cove, Roy ( Marie ) at English Harbour West, Allan ( Roberta ) at Boxey, Freeman ( Melinda ) at Grand Bank and Glen ( Mildred ) at Grand Falls-Windsor; daughter, Dora Lake ( Paul ) at Mount Pearl; stepsons, Terry Clarke( Lisette ) at Calgary, AB and Sheldon Clarke ( Charlene ) at Oromocto, NB; nineteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; special homecare workers, Marlene Cox and Diane Spencer; as well as a number of other family and friends Predeceased by his wife, Jessie; partner, Irene Green; great-granddaughter, Caitlin; parents, John Henry and Elizabeth Cox; brother, Steven James Cox; stepbrothers, Jack and Bill Pat Sheppard; stepsister, Mary Vallis; plus a large circle of other relatives and friends. Donations gratefully accepted for All Saints Memorial Fund, Wreck Cove. Funeral Service was held at All Saints Church, Wreck Cove, on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 2:00pm. with Rev Bruce Vallis officiating. Interment followed at All Saints Cemetery, Wreck Cove.
